Each frame contains a fragment of a kilim originating from Malatya in Anatolia. This is a rather original and exclusive decorating idea, a combination of oriental architecture and antique textiles. A set of 6 solid wood frames to decorate a space, an entryway, a bedroom... Handcrafted and likely unique pieces, each frame is different and offers an artistic interpretation of Ottoman architecture. One might think of mosque entrances or old buildings. I must confess, I'm the one who started this project. I must have missed working with my hands! They are also beautiful settings to showcase and highlight all the beauty of antique Anatolian kilims.
