François Linke Clock

Artist: François Linke & Léon Messangé
An exceptional and very rare Rococo-style bronze clock by the sculptor and ornamentalist Léon Messagé (1841-1901).
He is known for his collaboration with François Linke (1855-1946) for the Universal Exhibition held in Paris in 1900.
Thanks to their partnership, Léon Messagé achieved enormous success at the end of the 19th century.

By 1900, he was at the head of a veritable enterprise employing 90 workers !
