Large Two-Piece Walnut Bookcase – Louis XV Style – Circa 1900. A substantial two-piece bookcase in solid walnut, in the Louis XV style, opening with three glazed doors in the upper section and three solid doors in the lower section. The front is punctuated by molded uprights and shaped panels characteristic of the Louis XV style. The glazed doors reveal an interior fitted with numerous shelves offering ample storage capacity. The lower section opens with three paneled doors. The piece rests on a molded plinth and is topped with a wide, straight cornice. French work in walnut, made circa 1900, with a beautiful patina.
