Superb Yomuth Turkmen saddle blanket. Knotted pile technique. Very short pile. Very fine quality hand-spun wool. Guls motifs in the central field. The lower section features small, subtle geometric patterns. Their unexpected presence lends this piece a certain refinement. The indigo blues are delightful.
