Kakuha Kanzaemon IX (角羽勘左衛門), whose real name was Kakuha Zenjirō (角羽善次郎), was a member of a family of artists from Toyama. In 1869, he opened a branch in the port of Yokohama, which handled the export of bronze products and retail sales to foreign clients in Japan.
