Wolfers – Belgian Empire Style Ewer In Solid Silver, Swan Finial, 1920s
Wolfers – Belgian Empire Style Silver Teapot with Swan finial, 1920s. A very fine Empire style teapot made by the prestigious Belgian firm Wolfers, a major player in early 20th-century European silversmithing. This piece is distinguished by its slender and perfectly proportioned silhouette, typical of the Neo-Empire style, combining architectural simplicity with decorative refinement. The lid is surmounted by a remarkable, finely sculpted swan finial, an emblematic element of exceptional quality. The elegantly curved body is adorned with continuous chased friezes, adding rhythm and elegance to the whole. The delicately curved bone handle is in perfect condition, without any cracks or repairs. The ewer bears the Wolfers three-star hallmark, used before 1942, confirming an earlier and authentic production, in this case dating to the 1920s. It has a capacity of approximately 750 milliliters, suitable for serving, while also retaining significant decorative value. A piece representative of the high level of quality and finish characteristic of Wolfers production.
