Wrought Iron Console Table With Marble Top
A very beautiful wrought iron wall console in a green-grey color with gold highlights. It rests on two strongly curved legs, connected by a gracefully curved stretcher. The ironwork features lovely curves, counter-curves, scrolls, and foliage in cut sheet metal. It is topped with a beautiful veined marble slab, its edge adorned with a charming corbel-like molding. A very fine handcrafted piece from the 1950s-1960s.
