A beautiful lithograph by Alops Senefelder depicting the portrait of General, later Marshal of the Empire, Charles Pierre François Augereau, Duke of Castiglione (born October 21, 1757, and died June 12, 1816). Alops Senefelder was born on November 6, 1771, in Prague and died on February 26, 1834, in Munich. He resided at 27 rue du Paradis Poissonnière in Paris from March 1814, then at 13 rue Servandoni in Paris from 1818 until April 5, 1830. This lithograph is framed in a mahogany frame.
