It rests on two legs, with a crossbar openwork in front and on the sides in which oak leaves, acorns, cups and acanthus leaves mingle.
The central shell is decorated with a burst pomegranate in which there is a bouquet of oak leaves and acorns. Superb base with a nervous and deep sculpture, with flowers, volutes, and again intertwined oak leaves and branches and acorns.
Large shell at the spacer, also openwork in a decoration reminiscent of that of the crossbar above.
Very beautiful period gilding, piece of furniture in very good condition having undergone very few restorations, to note reinforcements on the angles of the crossbars (you can see them in the photos), and the balls under the feet added.
Blue turquin marble of the period and origin.
