"Large Bronze Candle Holder, 15th/16th Century"
Important bronze candlestick from the late 15th or early 16th century, probably German or Flemish. The turned shaft rests on a circular base. The wide cup, with its central boss riveted to the shaft, is fitted with an iron spike. It retains its original patina and is in good overall condition (just a small, old crack on the base). Height: 33 cm excluding the spike.
