Pair Of Large Chests Of Drawers, Italy, 19th Century
Pair of large-scale Italian chests of drawers from the 19th century, each featuring four drawers, three of which are fitted with large disc-shaped bronze pulls. The chests stand on square legs. The pilasters are baluster-shaped and embellished with bronze capitals and bases. Small putti reliefs adorn the corners. The tops are molded, and the top drawers are left without hardware. Solid cherrywood, the chests have been professionally restored and hand-polished.
