The beauty of Tunisian ceramic craftsmanship in a vase: this large vase from the Art Deco period (1910-1939) is of astonishing beauty, inspired by this design & decorative movement based on geometric shapes inspired by elements of nature.
Its two large mesople handles surround this form at the enlarged base with a tight and flared collar. Entirely handmade by a craftsman from the workshop El-Kharraz, prominent family of pottery of Nabeul, the form and especially its drawings with vegetable patterns have a pure Art Deco aesthetic, in the taste of Tunisian craftsmanship.
In very good general condition, it is signed under its base with the stamp of Nabeul & the workshop El Kharraz in written Arabic. Its highly decorative shape does not detract from its function of containing liquids or flowers.
Fast & neat shipping in France, Europe & worldwide.
