""raoul Larche, Loïe Fuller Lamp, Art Nouveau Bronze" Raoul Larche (1860-1912) "
"Raoul Larche, Loïe Fuller Lamp, Art Nouveau Bronze" Raoul LARCHE (1860-1912) Lamp-sculpture representing Loïe Fuller in bronze with a gilt patina, re-edition (sand casting technique of the period and original gilding). The work is signed at the base and measures 33 cm in height. Note: This lamp is an artistic interpretation of the famous American dancer Mary Louise Fuller, known as Loïe Fuller (1862-1925). Renowned for her choreography in which she swirled her veils, Fuller twirled on a glass surface lit from below by side spotlights. Wrapped in meters and meters of light fabric, she created luminous, moving forms on stage. Stéphane Mallarmé spoke of it as an "intoxication of art and, simultaneously, an industrial achievement."
