Large Painted Sheet Metal Lantern from the Late 19th Century.

Large Louis XVI style painted sheet metal lantern decorated with revolutionary glass elements.
The painted sheet metal body is finely crafted with ribbon bows and garlands, as well as multicolored flowers.
The supporting frame is composed of stylized acanthus leaves, all held by an easily adjustable chain. The original glass elements are curved and colored with blue, white, and red bands.

Beautifully proportioned, it can accommodate four light bulbs, creating a soft, diffused ambiance thanks to the painted glass. It is in excellent condition and of pleasing proportions.
