"Set Of Eight 18c Chantilly Soft Paste Porcelain Plates Floral Ozier Border"
Set of eight 18th Century French Chantilly soft-paste porcelain plates. Features are lobed, scalloped rim and a molded basket-weave border, known as the
ozier pattern. The center of the plate is hand-painted with polychrome floral sprays, including pink, blue, and yellow flowers, and a small black fly painted near the lower bouquet. The plate has a white ground with a thin gilt or brown enamel line applied to the rim edge. The underside features a hand-painted blue decorator's mark, consistent with 18th-century factory practices. The material is soft-paste porcelain with a tin glaze. Dimensions are approximately 23.5 cm in diameter. The condition is consistent with age, displaying minor manufacturing imperfections and wear to the gilt rim.
