Antique Art Deco Silver-plated Metal Bowl, Ercuis Silversmiths

Ercuis is a renowned French company (founded in 1867) famous for its luxurious silver and silver-plated tableware and cutlery. Its brands are synonymous with high quality and are highly sought after by collectors. Here is a very beautiful fruit bowl from the famous French brand Ercuis. In pure Art Deco style, it is richly silverplated. The round bowl rests on four elegant feet, a design of great beauty, typical of the Art Deco period (1915-1935).

It bears the name "Ercuis" in full on the side, the logo representing a circle with the letters OE (for Orfèvrerie Ercuis), as well as the numbers 25 and 37 inscribed respectively in a square and an oval.

The bowl is pre-owned but in very good condition.
