Center Table, Late 18th Century Holland, Rich Marquetry Of Leafy And Floral Scrolls
A center table with rich marquetry decoration of foliate and floral scrolls with birds, opening to reveal two drawers at the ends. It features a wavy apron and cabriole legs. Holland, late 18th century. The top is very richly inlaid with light woods (maple, boxwood, sycamore) on a mahogany ground, creating a superb contrast.

Restored in our workshop, French polished, excellent condition.
This very dense floral marquetry is characteristic of the cabinetmaking workshops of Amsterdam and The Hague at the end of the 18th century. The fully inlaid top is typical of prestigious Dutch tables of this period.
