A pair of black-ground cloisonné vases decorated with ryū dragons in polychrome ginbari enamel, outlined with extremely fine silver wire.
The dragons’ bodies unfold with finely articulated scales in translucent purple and silvery white enamel, enriched with blue, green, and red details.
The slender necks are finished with a metal rim, while the circular bases are enhanced by a polychrome ornamental band with geometric motifs.
