An elegant Aubusson-style rug, distinguished by its highly structured and perfectly symmetrical composition.

The design is organized around a large central circular medallion, adorned with foliate scrolls and delicate polychrome flowers, reminiscent of the Neoclassical decorative repertoire of the late 18th century.

The whole is framed by a rich border featuring frieze motifs, stylized columns, and floral garlands, rendered in a refined palette of ivory, beige, powder pink, seafoam green, and pale blue, lending the rug great elegance and perfect clarity of design.

Condition : Used, showing general wear to the wool as well as some stains and signs of age blended into the design, without detracting from the overall composition or harmony.
