Chalice, Early 18th Century
A very beautiful and rare chalice in its original case. The chalice is made of silver-plated copper for the foot and gilt copper for the drinking cup. The original silvering and gilding are in very good condition, with only minor wear on the edges. The original, custom-shaped case is made of wood covered in leather on the outside and suede on the inside. All the original clasps are present. This is a particularly rare item due to the presence of the case. Two initials, "JP," are engraved on the bottom, presumably those of its owner. Height: 18 cm. Base diameter: 10.5 cm. Rim diameter: 7.2 cm. Very good condition.
