Finely carved carabao handle with gadroons, adorned with silver inlays and twists. Silver pommel and cap. Brass quillon guard. Wavy, double-edged, two-sided blade. Very good condition, with some oxidation spots on the blade. Overall length: 51 cm. Notes: Bladed weapons attributed to the Katipunan, a revolutionary secret society founded in 1892, are characterized by a synthesis of Filipino traditions and European influences, with a level of craftsmanship significantly superior to that of traditional Filipino production.
