Consulate Period Console, Eastern European Work From The 19th Century
An elegant console table in light wood veneer, probably cherry, with four front uprights featuring columns with gilt bronze capitals and bases, and rear uprights of blackened wood pilasters joined by a mirrored back panel, resting on a curved stretcher plinth supported by ball feet. A 19th-century Eastern European piece, a simple and elegant design with good proportions. In good overall condition, with minor signs of wear.
