Elgant Empire period console table in Flamed mahogany, Marble top - Early 19th
Elegant Empire period console in solid flamed mahogany and mahogany veneer, dating from the early 19th century.
It rests on four cylindrical columns adorned with ormolu rings, typical of the Empire style. The belt features a magnificent flamed mahogany veneer offering a highly decorative natural decor.
The console is topped with a gilded bronze ring, typical of the Empire style.
The console is topped with a white-veined grey marble top, in perfect keeping with the sober elegance of furniture from this period.
The lower part is composed of a spacer shelf with a curved front, bringing lightness and balance to the whole.
Very fine cabinetwork with richly grained wood and a beautiful patina.
