Pair Of Rare Candlestick Doors In The Shape Of Nubians, Venice, Early 19th Century

Rare pair of Nubian-shaped door candlesticks, with carved wooden bases, gilded and polychrome, the wooden bases are painted to imitate sea-green marble
Nice antique patina; minor chips and cracks, which can be repaired in our workshop upon request
Very decorative, quite rare on the market; torch-style door candlesticks are more common; door candlesticks like the ones we are presenting here are quite rare
