Pair of four-light candelabra. Silvered bronze, late 19th century. Round base decorated with gadroons, tassels, a row of pearls, and a frieze. Stem adorned with fluting, rows of pearls, and heart-shaped motifs. Three removable candle arms with branches in the form of scrolling foliage. Candle holders decorated with a crenellated frieze, a row of pearls, and heart-shaped motifs. Made by Auguste Mourier in Paris. Candelabra: Height: 36 cm. Width: 29 cm. Candle holder: Height: 27 cm. Base diameter: 13.5 cm. The oxidized patina and traces of melted wax add to the charm of these Louis XVI style candelabra.
