Enamelled Ceramic Tableware.
Artist: José Buxò Puig
Created by the Catalan artist José Buxò Puig in the 1970s, this set is highly representative of a style and subject matter inspired by Dalí, Miró, and Picasso, as well as Catalan culture. The artist appropriates the age-old theme of the "Bull" through art. This set is exceptional, particularly because each piece is unique in its design. Indeed, the symbols depicted are the same for each piece but painted differently, making each one a unique work of art. This remarkable service consists of 12 round flat plates (diam: 25 cm), 12 square cake plates (20 cm x 20 cm), 12 mugs (height: 9 cm, diam: 9 cm, width with handle: 13 cm), a cake plate (length: 36.5 cm, width: 27 cm), a large round platter (diam: 41 cm) and a vase (height: 27 cm, diam: 14 cm), i.e. 39 original pieces, all signed by the artist and in perfect condition.
