"Bella Doll Head Mold In Bronze With Number 40 – Curiosity Item – Circa 1970"
Rare, authentic industrial mold from the French manufacturer Bella in Perpignan (1946-1984). This bronze mold was used for rotomolding doll heads in the 1960s and 70s. The object presents a fascinating contrast between the raw exterior and the interior, revealing the delicate facial features in negative. A historical and sculptural piece for original decoration or a cabinet of curiosities. An example made with silicone; the heads of period dolls were, of course, much more beautiful. 3 molds available
