A shallow, oval-shaped dish with a slightly scalloped rim. The basin has a white background decorated with a regular scattering of small gilded twigs alternating with stylized green plant motifs. The rim is richly decorated with a wide polychrome and gold frieze, composed of scrolls, vases, and arabesques in the style of the so-called "Salembier" decoration. The volutes, finely highlighted with gold, frame lozenge-shaped reserves with a guilloché gold background containing polychrome roses. The whole is punctuated by gilded plant motifs. Gold rim.
