"Gerbino Vallauris Two Large Ceramics 50"
A pair of large ceramic pieces, circa 1950, with mosaic decoration, signed Jean Gerbino (1876-1966), from Vallauris. The set comprises a large vase with a bulbous body and shoulder extending into a tall, rolled neck (dimensions: 42 cm high x 21 cm wide) and a substantial spherical vase forming a cachepot (dimensions: 28 cm wide x 23 cm high). Good overall condition, with a few minor chips to the base. Provenance: Exhibited in "Vallauris: The Beautiful History 1881-2010" at the Sarreguemines Museum in 2017.
