Paul Quéré & Ariane Mathieu, Rare Zoomorphic Pitcher, Signed, Dated, Numbered 3/20
This very rare and magnificent zoomorphic pitcher is the highly accomplished result of a collaboration between Paul Quéré (1931-1993) for the enamel and his partner Ariane Mathieu for the form.
The reverse bears two signatures: - in relief, Ariane's signature, accompanied by the number 3/20 and dated 1966, France - in brushstrokes, Quéré, Moulin d'Andé.
Collectors will appreciate this superb and rare object, which is in excellent condition.
