Solid Silver Tripod Coffee Pot – Paris, Directory/consulate (1798–1809)
A rare Parisian coffee pot in solid silver (first standard, rooster hallmark), Directoire-Consulate period, attributed to Claude-Nicolas Delanoy. The tripod model rests on three cabriole legs with plain cartouche attachments ending in hoof feet. It features a fluted spout, a pear-shaped body finely engraved at the top, and a turned ebony side handle. The domed lid with its ribbed design is hinged and has a scroll thumb rest, typical of late 18th-century Parisian production. It bears more than ten hallmarks, including the Paris guarantee mark (85). This model is documented by examples held in public collections. Height: 14 cm – Length: 15 cm. Total weight: 208 g.
