Olympia, the Palaestra, and the Ruins of the Temple of Zeus. The Palaestra at Olympia is an ancient training facility with a square courtyard surrounded by columns. The adjoining rooms were used for exercise and athletic preparation, as well as bathing areas connected to an underground water system. This facility was built in the 3rd century BC to serve athletes preparing for the Olympic Games.
