Important and highly decorative Medici-style vase with handles in the form of bearded old men, made of Mehun-sur-Yèvre (Cher) porcelain. Restoration period, circa 1818-1820. A very fine piece of generous size, with handles on the sides featuring men's faces, lion heads, scrolls, and palmettes on the sides of the square base. The vase is in two parts, assembled with its original stem and nut. Provenance: Manor house in Tarn-et-Garonne. Total height: 39 cm. Diameter: 28.5 cm.
