"Pair Of Vienna Porcelain Vases, Royal Vienna Style, Circa 1880"
An elegant pair of Vienna porcelain vases, circa 1880, with domed lids and rose-coloured handles. Under each base, a blue shield mark and gilt number '25', typical of late 19th-century Viennese productions perpetuating the imperial tradition. Angelica Kauffmann, a renowned neoclassical painter and founding member of the Royal Academy in London, was one of the most admired artists of her time; her subjects were widely reproduced on European porcelain. A decorative and finely gilded pair, combining contrasting colours with classical refinement – a fine example of late 19th-century Viennese porcelain. Dimensions: Height 28 cm; Diameter 15.6 cm.
