A very fine patinated and gilt bronze mantel clock and two candelabra, dating from the 19th century, in an elegant Louis XV – Napoleon III style.
The clock is adorned with a charming patinated bronze group of allegorical figures, set within a richly decorated rocaille and foliate mount.
The enamel dial with Roman numerals blends harmoniously into this refined ensemble. The two five-armed candelabra rest on patinated bronze figures of children, supported by wide, richly sculpted bases. The fine chasing and balanced proportions testify to great craftsmanship.
