Antique desk inkwell consisting of a rectangular black marble base resting on four brass feet. It is fitted with two gilt bronze inkwells, each with a lid decorated with floral motifs and a central handle. The base is carved from a single piece of marble. The inkwells have a metal interior, suitable for use with ink. Overall condition: fair – signs of wear consistent with age – minor marks and a small chip on one corner.
