Alexander Yaroslavich Nevsky (Russian: Александр Ярославич Невский, born around 1220 in Pereslavl-Zalessky and died in 1263 in Gorodets) was a Russian prince of the Rurikid dynasty. She is considered a Russian national hero and a saint of the Orthodox Church.
Agrippina of Mineo, also known as Saint Agrippina (who lived in the 3rd century and died in 262), was venerated as a virgin martyr in both the Catholic and Orthodox Churches. Saint Agrippina of Mineo is an early Christian saint, a Roman woman who dedicated her life to God and suffered martyrdom for her faith in Christ during the reign of Emperor Valerian. She is venerated by the Russian Orthodox Church on June 23 (July 6).
This text describes the torments endured by the young woman for her profession of faith and her miraculous deliverance by an angel. Her relics, transferred to Sicily, have been credited with numerous healings. Her feast day is celebrated in the Orthodox Church on June 23. Patron saint: Mineo; Invoked against evil spirits, leprosy, storms, and bacteria.
Inscription: Above the figures are the names of the saints in Church Slavonic; on the back of the icon, in Polish, is a seal and a label bearing the inscription "Congratulations…", both difficult to read.
