Chinese Woman Figure in Malachite with Flowers resting on an oval base with feet carved from exotic wood and inlaid with silver threads. The sculpture was carved from a single block of malachite, which was also perforated to give greater lightness to the drapery. The woman holds a flower in her raised right hand, while her left hand holds a vase full of flowers. A rich hairstyle completes the elegance of this finely crafted figure. In good condition, it is of Chinese origin and dates back to around 1950.
