Cup With Gilt Bronze Mount, Imari, Kangxi (1661-1722), China.
An Imari-style porcelain bowl dating from the Kangxi period (1661-1722) with gilt-bronze mounts made in France in the late 19th century. The porcelain, classically decorated with underglaze cobalt, overglaze enamels, and gilding, depicts chrysanthemums and peonies, among other flowers. The mount is adorned with Louis XV and Louis XVI style motifs.
