Large French mantel clock from the mid-19th century. Gilt and patinated bronze. Rectangular base with six feet, decorated with acanthus leaves and putti in relief. Enamel dial with Arabic and Roman numerals, signed "Paris". Two putti adorn the top, holding harvest symbols. Width: 56 cm, depth: 19 cm, height: 36 cm. Depicts a young girl with a lamb and a basket of flowers. Provenance: Mantel clock, France. Condition: Very good, recently serviced by a watchmaker. Materials: Gilt bronze, signed movement and dial. Dimensions: Height: 36 cm, depth: 19 cm, length: 56 cm. Magnificent clock. Clock serviced by a watchmaker.
