Single-shot percussion pistol, travel pistol, 19th century, circa 1840. Materials: wood, steel, brass. Dimensions: overall length 25.5 cm. 19th century, circa 1840, Germany? Condition: very good, in working order. Steel barrel, octagonal, smoothbore; the barrel and breechblock are marked with the number "9". The reverse bears the mark "U" under a crown. The box-type breechblock has a hammer and trigger protected by a wide steel trigger guard. The stock is short, smoothbore, made of walnut, and fitted with a ball at its end.
