Young Girl with a Harp, 19th Century, Signed. A view from behind of an attractive young woman from Southern Europe, her long black hair adorned with a red ribbon, holding a harp and looking over her shoulder at the viewer. This delicately patinated oil on canvas, dating from around 1880, bears the monogram "ES" in the lower right corner, as well as the discreet inscription "Ernst Sch..." on the back of the frame. Technique: Oil on canvas. Condition: Very good after restoration. Signature: Monogram ES visible in the photograph. Dimensions: Canvas 54 cm x 67 cm, approximately 74 cm x 87 cm with frame.
