"Vintage Longwy Earthenware And Enamel Bowl/trinket Dish, Chartres Pattern"
A beautiful, multi-lobed bowl in Longwy earthenware and enamels, hand-glazed, Châtres pattern, vintage 1950s-60s, stamped on the base. The body is cornflower blue, with a frieze around the rim and geometric patterns in black, gold, green, white, orange, and yellow enamel. An elegant motif in the center of the base is in the same colors. The ends have openings and handles. It measures 27cm long, 21.5cm wide, and 7.5cm high at its highest point. Irregular shape, handcrafted. In very good overall condition, with very little visible use, a few discreet micro-scratches, and some minor fading of the gilding, which is rare and barely noticeable. Approximately 800g.
