A Chinese Dish, Famille Verte Kangxi C1700
Chinese Famille Verte porcelain dish. This molded dish with a foliate rim is elegantly decorated with a pair of birds. One is perched, the other in flight, above a flowering shrub. The whole is surrounded by a frieze of bouquets of flowers and butterflies on a seeded green ground. The underside bears a seal mark. Kangxi, 17th/18th century.
