Spectacular pair of vases made circa 1910 from the "Ruby" series by master glassmaker François-Théodore Legras (1839-1916) in frosted, multi-layered glass. A continuous decoration of burgundy ivy leaves, acid-etched and enameled. Baluster shape with a slender neck on a foot entirely covered in foliage. Signed Legras within the decoration on one piece.
In perfect condition, slight variations between the two pieces demonstrate the craftsmanship of these works.
