Artist: Georges Pull (1810-1889)
Georges Pull (1810–1889) was a 19th-century French ceramic artist linked to the Neo-Palissy movement. He produced polychrome glazed earthenware closely modeled on the work of Bernard Palissy, the renowned 16th-century French potter celebrated for his naturalistic approach. The craftsmanship of Pull’s pieces is so accomplished that they have at times been confused with genuine Palissy works from the 16th century.
