"Hide-and-Seek in the Park," this genre scene is the work of the French listed painter Albert Matignon (1869 Sablé (Sarthe) - 1937 Paris), a genre and landscape artist.
He lived and worked in Paris, studied under Hébert and Maignan (1884-1928), and exhibited at the Paris Salon (Société des Artistes Français). He received the gold medal in 1914. One of his genre paintings is held at the Dimu Museum in Bucharest.
