19th Century Oak Chest
Early 19th-century oak chest, dovetailed construction, resting on four turned feet. The front, both sides, and the top of the lid are carved with a frieze, shells, and napkin folds. Wrought iron keyhole escutcheons. Inside, a small compartment for storing more fragile items. The lid is held by two substantial wrought iron hinges. Light oak, in original condition. Dimensions: 125 cm x 62 cm x 54 cm high
