French School, 18th century: Double-sided painting "Angels and Moses," oil on canvas, 49 x 48 cm, mounted between two panes of glass in a double-molded frame, 58 x 57 cm. Probably a fragment of a banner; some losses and old restorations.
Our painting depicts, on one side, two angels in adoration before a monstrance to the Virgin Mary, and on the other, Moses striking the rock to bring forth a spring before the Hebrew camp in the desert.
