A very beautiful Louis Vuitton cabin trunk with a stenciled monogram. Cabin trunks, in the early 20th century, were designed to be placed under beds in ocean liners and luxury trains, hence their standard height of 33cm. This trunk is in very good original condition. Only the interior lining is stained at the base. (See photos). The original label, affixed inside the trunk, allows us to date it between 1914 and 1924.
